Falling Stars

Falling Stars is a role-playing game aimed at children, and features an engrossing story with many hours of gripping gameplay. As the player solves the mysteries of Dazzleon, they must train their own pet, dress their character in an assortment of unique outfits, participate in seven exciting mini-games, and battle deadly monsters. Falling Stars is a visual feast, as the world and characters are brightly coloured and beautiful to see in motion. The world of Dazzleon is incredibly detailed and there is a definite “feel-good” atmosphere that can be noticed just wandering through the world. Butterflies gently flutter around forests, autumn leaves drop rhythmically from orange trees, and stunning waterfalls add even more to the ambience and mood in this magical world. Sony Home Is A "Social Layer" Says Lead Artist

Lead artist John Venables describes Home as a "social layer" for the PS3, pretty much contradicting the previous statements from Darren Cairns and Liam Wickham, declaring Home "is not a social network - it’s focused on games. It’s a visual representation of the PlayStation community."

OXM Online: Tales of Vesperia Review

There’s a point in nearly every JRPG when suddenly the entire world opens up and you’re overwhelmed with an overabundance of side quests, mini-games, and new locations. We like to call this the "Airship GET!" moment. It’s that "Aha!" when everything changes and the story takes a backseat to relentless plunder of goodies and secrets.

About 25 to 30 hours into Namco Bandai’s incredibly satisfying anime-styled romp, that Airship GET! moment occurs. The funny thing, though, is that as exhilarating as grabbing an airship is in Tales of Vesperia, you’re still absolutely compelled to chase down the loose ends of the story. The credit goes to Vesperia’s well-spun yarn about choice, responsibility, and the encroaching end of the world.

Pros:

* Pretty anime-style visuals.

* So many places to explore, mini-games to exploit, and things to do.

Cons:

* Spatial distance can be hard to judge in battle

Questionable:

* Why do you suck so hard at making curry, Yuri? Grrr!
