Memory Match (also known as Concentration or Pairs) is a card game played entirely face-down. Every card has a twin hidden somewhere on the board behind an identical back. Flip two at a time — a match stays face-up, a miss flips back over — and clear the whole board in as few moves as you can.
It's one of the oldest and simplest games for training short-term recall. There's no luck to argue with and no opponent to blame: every flip either sharpens your picture of the board or costs you a move, and the timer and move counter make each round easy to compare against your last.
Play starts small at 4 pairs and scales all the way to 30, so the same simple rules stretch from a thirty-second warm-up to a proper concentration workout.
Anyone who can remember where they last saw something — you already know enough to start.
Tap two cards, remember what you saw — the whole rule set fits in one sentence, which makes it a gentle first game for young players.
Hand the device around and take turns clearing pairs together. No account, no second device needed.
